Dental Health Tips: Flossing

Hey everybody! Welcome back to the Dental Health Tips blog again. Today I have put together a post that includes tips on how to floss properly and better to improve your dental health. Flossing Tips

When using a toothbrush there is no what to get inbetween you teeth so you need to floss in order to get rid of food and plaque build up that get stuck in there.


  • Floss in a gentle and precise yet thorough manner
  • Be gentle on your gums but make sure you floss all the way down the gaps inbetween your teeth
  • Form a C shape when flossing so as to get all the way around the the front and sides of your teeth
  • Pull the floss all the way up the teeth from the gumline to get the whole tooth
  • Make sure to floss both the front and back of your teeth
  • Switch to a fresh piece or fresh spot on the floss as you progress through your mouth
  • Use wax floss for the easiest experience
  • Use a floss holder if you are having trouble flossing
  • Make sure to floss every night and preferably also in the morning and after feels
  • Flossing should be done whenever you brush your teeth
