Hey everybody! I am back again with some general tips to help you improve your dental health. Some of these tips are brought to you by the Mayo Clinic. If you are interested in great oral health then there is no substitute for brushing and flossing your teeth. These are the two mainstays to brushing but there are other things you can do to help improve your dental health even more.
- Use a waterpik to help clean along your gums lines
- Use mouthwash after brushing and flossing to help reduce bacteria and plaque
- Use a dental pick to help clean between your teeth
- Brush after each time that you eat, not just twice a day
- Floss after each meal, not just twice a day
- Stay away from really sugary foods
- If you eat sugary foods brush your teeth immediately afterwards
- Make sure to visit your dentist once every 6 months
- Brush your teeth after eating highly acidic foods
