Toothbrushing Tips
Follow the tips provided below to brush your teeth better:
- Be sure to brush your teeth at least two times a day and after every meal if possible
- When brushing hold your toothbrush at a slight angle and use short back and forth strokes
- Use a toothpaste that is fluoride based
- Use a soft bristle toothbrush that is gentle on your gums (preferably a Sonicare toothbrush)
- Brush all parts of your teeth including the inside and outside
- Brush your tongue very well to eliminate bad breath and bacteria
- Brush for a minimum of 2 minutes but preferably until your teeth feel clean all over
- Don't brush to do, just apply light pressure, over brushing can be bad too
- Get a new toothbrush or toothbrush head every 3 months in order to continue with healthy brushing
- Get an electric toothbrush if you can afford it.
